AFRIKAN BAZAAR
June 12 2010 - July 12 2010
The idea behind Afrikan Bazaar was to celebrate World Cup 2010 happening in South Africa. From their the idea grew into showing the world a glimpse of what contemporary Afrikan art is becoming. Their is a new generation of artists who are reinventing the landscape of what Afrikan art is. Papillion Institute of Art is thrilled to present two emerging Afrikan artists Cassi Amanda Gibson of Mozambique and Lakwena Suit. We are also equally proud of a collaborative installation between the gallery and Africa10.
